Legal Eagle Courier Service — Terms and Conditions

By submitting this order form, you (“Client”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions governing all process serving and document delivery services provided by Legal Eagle Courier Service (“Company”). Please review carefully before confirming your order.

1. Scope of Services

Legal Eagle Courier Service provides service of process, document filing, and court courier support. The Company’s responsibility is limited to the timely and professional delivery or service of documents as instructed by the Client. Legal Eagle Courier Service does not provide legal advice or representation.

2. Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete service details, including full recipient name, physical address, and any identifying information necessary for service.

• Ensuring that documents uploaded or delivered for service are final and correct.

• Confirming that service requests comply with all applicable laws, court rules, and deadlines.

 

Legal Eagle Courier Service is not liable for failed or delayed service resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or unlawful instructions.

3. Service Attempts and Completion

• The quoted service fee covers up to three (3) standard service attempts, unless otherwise stated.

• Additional attempts may incur extra charges.

• If the recipient has moved, relocated, or refuses service, the Client remains responsible for all fees incurred up to that point.

• Once service has been completed, an Affidavit or Proof of Service will be prepared and emailed to the Client.

 

4. Fees, Payment, and Discounts

• Fees are based on service type, distance, urgency, and number of parties to serve.

• Rush, same-day, or after-hours service requests incur additional charges.

• Payment is due at the time of order unless a billing arrangement is pre-approved.

• Promotional codes or discounts must be entered at checkout and cannot be applied retroactively.

• Prices are subject to change without notice, except for confirmed orders.

 

5. Cancellations and Refunds

• Orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch for a partial refund (less processing fees).

• Once a process server has been assigned or attempts have begun, fees are non-refundable.

• If service cannot be completed for reasons outside the Company’s control (e.g., bad address, evasion, recipient moved), the Client is still responsible for all costs incurred.

 

Refunds, when applicable, will be issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

 

6. Proof of Service and Delivery Confirmation

Upon completion, Legal Eagle Courier Service will issue a Proof or Affidavit of Service in accordance with jurisdictional requirements. Digital copies are provided via email, and original documents (if required) may be mailed for an additional fee.

 

7. Limitations of Liability

Legal Eagle Courier Service will exercise due care in handling all documents and assignments; however, the Company’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service.

 

The Company is not responsible for:

• Delays due to incorrect information, bad addresses, or circumstances beyond our control.

• Court rejections caused by document errors not introduced by Legal Eagle Courier Service.

• Consequential or indirect damages resulting from failed or delayed service.

 

8. Confidentiality

All information and documents provided are treated as confidential and used solely for fulfilling the requested service. Legal Eagle Courier Service complies with all applicable privacy and data protection laws.

 

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state where service is performed. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate court within that jurisdiction.

By checking the box and submitting this form, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions and authorize Legal Eagle Courier Service to perform the requested service(s) as described.
